kind of funny..i saw this video over a month ago but it is still good. Nice to see a tiburon whip up on some domestics every once in a awhile. I almost bought a srt-4 last week. Had a chance to get one....I know the owner of a dodge dealership, heck of a deal i can get.

Ok. what is you bought a base model tib. then spent that extra money that you saved from buying an SRT-4 and put it into the engine.. Would it win?

The SRT-4 is 2,984 lbs. according to Car and Driver which means its likely heavier than the Tiburon not 400 lbs. lighter. If the Tib has close to 300 hp, no wonder it won.

Of course, if we had the SRT-4 vs the S/C Tib on a ROAD COURSE...then we would all laugh at the sh!tty SRT-4 suspension...and hope the S/C Tib beats it by more than a minute. smile.gif

2.7... 2.0 GKs suck. My lawnmower is faster.

Fully loaded (sunroof, etc) GKs weigh 3200 pounds with no driver. It still has a slight weight advantage, not as much as I had thought.

The SRT-4s suspension isn't that horrible. Stock vs Stock I can see the SRT-4 holding its own with the Tib on a road course. Suspension mods do wonders for GKs though, once you get rid of that oversteer they can fly.

Tiburons must be a lot heavier in the U.S. than Canada. In Canada the curb weight of the V6 Tib is 1333 kg or 2,939 lbs. That is fully loaded, the only way they come up here.

You've never seen an SRT-4 (with stock susp) autoX then...they have more body roll than out-date muscle cars.
