When autocrossing, is there ever a good time to ride the clutch through turns or should you always control car through the throttle and brake?

I can't think of any time I would suggest riding the clutch during an autocross.

do that and you'll be accelerating the wear on clutch components, i always do the latter,

on uphill intersections, i only engage the clutch when hitting throttle.
