Hi guys, so one of my friends just bought an acura RSX ( not the type S )

And I was wondering which one as the fastest car..

Not top speed but 1/4 mile .. 0-100 Etc..



Here are the specs!!



Tiburon : Headers and exhaust , AEM CAI , 17 inch tires (215/45/17) E/T time of : 16,4 seconds! ( manuel tranny and new clutch )



RSX: Automatic shift tronic , BONE STOCK , Suspension is dropped , stock rims etc..



0-100 times are 7,1 for the tib and 6,9 for the acura.. BUT He is auto and I am modded ??

being that your going bench race every battle, from now on, I am going to say you will lose every race



gk vs geo metro = you lose



gk vs rabbit = you lose



gk vs clone of your gk = both lose

 

I dont cross them on the road, I KNOW the people that own them !!

 

Racing is stupid, tickets, higher insurance, impounded car, loss of license, loss of your job (I drive a company vehicle) and possibly loss of your life. Is it worth it? I don't think so.



And what does owning a faster car than your buddy do for you? Are you making up for being "shorted" in other departments?

 

THIS RACE would be on a dragstrip not an open road.. For people that don't want to answer fine but id like real answers now loll

 

If you want to know so bad, GO TO A f*cking TRACK AND RACE! Stop asking these questions! Just race and see!!!

You will probably win by a short amount due to gearing and that you're not an auto. The RSX weighs less last time someone looked up specs I think. But just race and have fun and see what happens. You wont win by alot and it will be a pretty slow race to watch regardless.

Ok, after bouncing over to the wonderful invention that is the World Wide Web. Curb weight of the GK (2004) is 2940 LBS and the curb weight of an RSX is 2633 LBS. I'd have to say that Visionz is right. That is if you are able to stick the launch.



But I would truely hope that when you do go to the track that they don't charge you too much to run. If so you are blowing quite a bit of money that could be used to make that GK a real monster.
