Socks you could have just linked the thread, and then i would have realized it was this guy and fully agreed with you, since he just installed his built engine and is now out there drag racing on fresh internals.

But, like i said even if it breaks im sure he'll just buy a new engine and either make the same mistake (and make some mechanic's dreams come true), or learn his lesson.

Some people take advise when its given, and some are more blunt, and need to learn from experience.

good kill man, but you should beware of the engine damage you may be causing and how easy it is/was to prevent.

Wow Socks, I hate ford as much as the next guy, but you need to give Ford a little more credit than that.
The Bullitt came with more upgrades than just 5hp. That number was conservative, and the numbers also don't show the extra torque it got. And the major upgrade was the suspension along with Brembo brakes. It was far superior to the standard GT.

More extras:
Aluminum IM instead of the regular plastic one
Better Exhaust
Scoops
Mouldings
Wheels
Interior bling




Also, the 95's had the newer body style but still had the 5.0L motor. (SN95's)

 

see, i did not know that. i just knew what power they were rated at. and i don't have any problems with fords. if i could get my hands on a 04 SVT cobra for a good price, i would pick one up.. those cars are SO much fun.

my friend had a bullitt in high school and it was a pretty nice ride.

it's all about respect though, even if it was a shotty civic and it stayed up front i'd shake the driver's hand. gotta hand it to the owners for working with something rare and getting so far with it. with the mustang you start out from a road killer, with the tiburon you start out from scratch and franken parts.

 

yea thanks for all the compliments, espically yours hyundaikitcoupe, even being in korea tibs are looked down on, espically from the mustang guys where i work at, they think are the shit, there are alot of fast korean cars out here but i work on an army base as a contractor and most the soldiers buy tibs and other cars just to get around,stock you know they are slow so thats what the mustang guys are going from they never seen one hooked up
