I need some input in this, Ive got the auto(yeah I know its not the best lol) Well after 60lbs of weight reduction, 4-2-1 headers, CAI, 2.5 mendrel exhaust with 4inch muffler. Now supposing I drive perfeclty with launch and everything. Can I dip into the low 16's. Im thinking its possible but Id like to hear what you guys think. Thanks!

Probably.

I ran 16.1 stock so those mods prob cancel out the autotragic's gayness.

I can't believe im talking about whether or not a modded car can run 16s. >.<

Yeah its in good condition, only 50,000miles with a new tranny on it (a little over 2,000miles) so the condition is fine. only that that WAS bad was the old trannsmission. lol

lets see. in theory the 60 lbs in weight reduction will get you about .06 faster 1/4 mile time.. and you cant really screw up driving an auto tragic.. with those mods, i would say you would have gotten about 10whp more.. so throw yourself at ~120whp or so.

i would say low 16, but dont think it would dip into the 15s.. wow, that sounds weird talking about dipping into the 15s lol.

heres my recommendation on race day.. take out the rear seats, passenger seat, and other minor things that you havent already taken out. run about a 1/4 tank of fuel.

for high 15s swap in a manual transmission. cool.gif or throw a 50 shot of nitrous on there and that will guarentee a 15 second 1/4..

Oh no im deffinatley not done modding, Ive been really considering the swap, Probably gonna spray a 60 shot eventually but not boost just because its my first car and turbos arent the easiest things lol.

When I do go to the track Ill try the seats and quarter tank thing. Thanks SOCKS

In my opinion removing seats and such only for track days is kind of pointless. Again this is just my opinion.
I'd rather know what my car will run on any day of the week as is, how I drive it. Just my thoughts.

I'll be back to report how well (or not well) a decently modded N/A automatic RD2 can run.
