We havent had one of these in awhile. What was the last car you raced (track, street, autox) and did you win or lose?



I went up against a 1 series bmw last week on a back road. Only went for about a 1/4 mile. No traffic at all, no side streets, nothing. Just a long straight away. I lost but not by much. I thought the 1 series were a lot faster. Surprised they're not too much quicker than Tibs.

 

I raced a '13 mustang last week on the highway. I seen him on an access road and drove by him. Got on the highway and he lined up next to me. He got on it first then I did right after once I did I started pulling on him. I passed him up and kept him at about 2 to 3 car lengths for about a quarter mile. Let off and he sped by. I didn't think the Tib GT was that much quicker then the mustang.

 

I raced a G35 in my Isuzu. We were side by side at a red, light turned green, I took of normally, as soon as he heard my BOV, the race was on! lol I floored it in third, once the turbo spooled up I FLEW past him, didn't even need to shift and I pulled 3 car lengths on him before letting off. :biggrin: At the next red light he wanted to know WTF I was driving. I just smiled and said "It's an Isuzu". I can't help but laugh when my 22 year old obscure Japanese import blows the doors off newer, supposedly, fast cars.
