I slam the pedal to the bottom in the second the light are green... with reaction i feel i dont have anything wrong. but I dont know what can be wrong.
where is the track is very hot!.. its near to the beach, I dont know if that make any difference, but next motnh I will try again with new mods and some changes.
any timeslip from your car that you can put here to see ... and what mods you have..

Don't just push the gas to the floor becaus the gas gets condensed on cylinder walls, in a book, push it down slowly, for about a second until it gets to the floor, try it and see what times are best it seems like a second

Don't forget too that the reaction time at most tracks really makes no difference. He could sit there for 4-5 seconds before taking off and the clock would not start. At least this is how it is at our local track. That is why you don't see the other times when a car runs solo.
As for the times. Those are horrid. Mine were not that much better. My first time at the track yeilded me a 17.1 at 83mph. It's pretty dauting the first time you go. I enjoyed it though. I can't wait to go again.

It revs to redline without moving the shifter I would have it with OD on so you can go past 95 if nessary, I think it shifts faster this way instead of moving it

Zone, By sport shift I hope you don't mean L-2-3 or however its set up in the Tib. That really is detrimental to an automatic tranny. Thats the ricer way of shifting, and plenty of ricers around here have blown their auto trannies with that being a contributing factor.
Did ya brake torque it? As in depressing the brake and revving the engine. Remember, reaction time makes no difference in your overall time unless your bracket racing. It doesn't effect ET any. So if you have to sit a little longer to make your launch better than do it.

This one really rice civic at my school always shifts "manually" with his auto, how he hasn't destroyed it I don't know
I wouldn't rev with the brake on, I think this is his daily driver, not track only car

There's nothing wrong with a little bit of brake torquing. wink1.gif
That will help you a little bit sharkev. I'd have to say it's the wheels, and that short ram intake. Hot air from the track and the hot engine air too is not going to help any. Grab some piping and make yourself a little bit of a CAI, bring it down in the engine compartment a bit away from the engine but not too close to the ground. That pavement prolly gives off a lot of heat down there. Especially at a racetrack.

Brake torquing does nothing except wear down your brakes a little faster. Does nothing bad to the internals of the engine/tranny. Its a hell of a lot better than neutral dropping.
