Dyno slip (big pic)
Best pull: 140WHP, 131.9 ft-lbs.
OK, this was my red tib back in 2005. I have that same engine on my purple tib now. I will be dynoing this saturday (there's a big NT meet in Hartford). Next week I will be turboing and doing some dyno tuning at the same dyno. Hopefully I'll break 200whp with my setup, ghetto as it is. here are the mods used in this dyno:
AEM intake, onpool bored TB and IM, 1.8 cam, NGK iridium plugs, Magnacor wires, Forza 4-2-1 header, Forza rear section exhaust, no a/c (cut belt), untuned SAFC (1-3% corrections, nothing major), 1.8 tranny and flywheel, 1.8 ECU. The engine had about 50k miles on it.
This weekend I will get new results. I have completely removed all the a/c components, have lightweight pulleys, Motoria catback with a magnaflow muffler in place of resonator, tuned SAFC and new o2 sensors. I'm hoping to reach 150WHP.

Here are some updated dyno runs with some horsepower and torque gains:

http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k29/tdon...06/Dyno2002.jpg
http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k29/tdon...06/Dyno2001.jpg
Maximum numbers are 155.8 hp and 137.4 torque.
This was done in 4th gear on the same exact dyno I did my previous runs on, the weather conditions were similar as well.
About 4 hp increase and 11 ft/lbs from the headwork and oversized valves.
Not great but not bad either. Perhaps with a standalone I could get another 20 of each.
Thanks.

I have installed an 05 elantra transmission and increased my rev limiter to 7750 on a 1.8L ecu (for info see thread in general performance).
157 hp from 155.8. WTF, lost about 5 ft. lbs. of torque since the last dyno, but I blame that on the 14:1 a/f ratio. The SAFC II isn't adding any more fuel even when I increased it 10% after the first run. You can see it only makes a difference after the stock rev-limiter. Would increasing the fuel pressure help me get the a/f back into the 12's?
Thanks.
