Helmet Cams
Did anyone in the past or currently do any race events with a helmet cam set up or do most of you just attach your camera to the car body or dash?

We attach GoPros either to the roll cage, or using a suction cup adapter to the side windows. The suction cups work really well. I turn it on via the wifi to my phone app.

I have no desire to watch the back side of my sun visor.
For driver POV I have a mount on the dash hump right in front of me. If I care about my steering, etc. I will mount one of the GoPros somewhere inside looking at me with enough outside view to tell where I am. Passenger quarter window works well with no passenger seat. Outside of the driver's rear quarter window gives a good view of my steering and the course.
