Nice one question why does everyone feel that air-ride adds weight or that air-ride cant handle a turbo? I'm going to build a turbo on my car which has air-ride. And drive my car like hell when I do drive it and it still handles better then another car I've been in to. I wish I would have gotten weighed before the air-ride so I could go get it weighed after the air-ride to show the difference. But maybe if someone would go get their car weighed I'll get mine weighed and we'll see what the difference is. Im sure that there is not much difference if any between the two.

That's what I was thinking.

Hydraulics would be HEAVY.

Hard to say, guess it wouldn't be too bad but it still would handle like garbage. His idea of getting coilovers eventually is a much better idea. Airbags are just for show IMHO.

I just realized, I have to follow this guy to Nopi! WTF?!?! If he stands on it I'll surely be left behind. LOL

What makes you think they handle like garbage? My car handles great but I also built my suspension different then most. Plus have you rode in a vehicle with air-ride? What was the setup? Was the front T offed so they only had to run two valves instead of 4 valves. If you set your front up like this then the front end does handle worse b/c the air from one bag shifts to the other bag. Thats why people dont run a setup like this anymore.

If you run a complete independent front and rear where it has it's on in valve out valve you wont have this problem. But yeah to each his own I guess. But I would put my car up against anyone with coilovers to see which handled better. So to hi-jack the post maybe this should go to a new topic or something.

Good job man smile.gif Times suck for your trap speed man. Try something like drag radials, nittos would help a lot! Having car on slicks is cool and gives very good results, but you can't take it further than the track, so it's no use... Drag radials would net nice results and car is still going to be street drivable smile.gif

What kind of power you are making right now?

This thread should be moved to drag racing.

Good point OP. LOL lmao.gif

As for the air ride thing, I'm thinking long term. Rubber vs. Metal. I just watched the video again. So hot.
