The engine makes water as it runs. A few drops from the intake will do no harm.

Not to thread hate, yet i have NEVER seen icing the IM the only time i saw the ice was on the Blowers, like all the sang guys, a few hopped up Ions.. I also have heard many running water to air intercooler, and they run Dry Ice and Water.



i dont see alot of gain just chilling on the Mani, as most people serious about Draging where they need ice, usually have a good 40 minutes between runs on a ET drag night. Which is plenty of time to cool off naturally, and your IM will get hot just from your idling waiting to get in the Burn out box, then staging then waiting for the guy next to you to stage... IMO

i've only seen that been done once at orlando speedworld, a guy put the entire bag of ice over his supra's IM, consecuently he got kicked out of the track because all the ice that melted over his engine ended up at the stage lane making a nice puddle while he was staging the car
