wow you have a really nice tiburon! great pictures man. you probably learned more safety control maneuvers with that as well as the feel for your car.

Q: how well do you think our cars perform in the rain as compared to other cars you've driven? better/worse than you thought? traction?

glad you had fun and got some cool photos from it.

My Tiburon is the only car I have really raced seriously. I have on occasion driven other cars on a course. One of them being the Subaru RS that won FTD on the rainy day. We swapped cars after all of the competition runs were finnshed. Not bad. The biggest difference is the launch at the start and the lack of wheelspin coming out of the corners. It almost fealt like racing for dummies. The only thing I had to wory about was the occasional oversteer and underster. With my car I find that since the suspension is so stiff, I have to be very careful when the weight of the car snaps over, I could end up spinning or having some big theatrical tail slide. I found that with the Tiburon I can get the nose turned in much bettr with the Eibach system on it. Before the understeer was really bad. I igure that with some R compound tires underneath me I will be shaving about two seconds of of my times.

That's awesome. I can't wait to autocross here.
How is your body roll with the latest setup? Is that how it is in your sig?

The pic in my sig is from a couple years ago. That was before I got the Eibach system installed. I used the pic in my sig because I thought it looked cool. heh.
Actually the body roll is WAY less now. This is just about as much body roll as I get now.

I have some video of me going through the course but I have to figure out a way to get it off of my computer and post it up on here. I have never used these putfile pages here before. I actually have a couple of vids. Some outside and one inside.

I actually found out that my little mini tripod leg will fit into one of the headrest holes. It is great for a cheap interior camera mount.

Here is what it looks like.

It is a little tight but worked great. cool.gif

That's a HUGE difference. That has got to be my next mod. Cause the rear swaybar didn't do jack by itself with the stock springs.

Go to Putfile.com It's pretty easy to upload vids.

Id liek to see how the vid turned out because now I dont have a mount. So of course the passenger doesnt hold on to it super steady. For the bodyroll it depends on how sticky the tires also. The car being lower helps because of the tourque up high. Such as evos roll alot and vettes less. The evo pulls more Gs so it would be interesting to see the same Gs pulled by each and see the diff in bodyroll. Heres my car when I pulled .98 Gs I really want to break one. The evo pulls 1.05 on stock tires and lotus 1.06.

What type of tires are those?
And did light wheels make an amazing diff on the track?
