Hello everyone today was the day that I attempted my 1st 1/4 time in a legal manner lmao smile.gif well besides the fact that I got set up with a evo 9 02.gif the overall experiance was pretty good, my time was 16.5, but am sure I could of lowered it to 16.0, my launch was pretty bad my tires spun out of the dig and when they got traction my rpms died 02.gif but I did beat the evo out the line but ended up catching me like if I was tied to a stone haha smile.gif I only tried it once. I think I did pretty good for a 1st time and for a beta that has a 170k miles on it with only a custom CAI, and 1.8 cam swap smile.gif ill post video soon smile.gif

Vehicle: N/A as in Not Applicable, not Naturally Aspirated
LOL, I was gonna say Blacktibs probably heard you from his house. With his 'trained' ear he probably already knew it was you before you even got to the 60ft.
edit, nvm you fixed the link
P.S. Instead of checking out when the next 'Streetz Dragz' event is, check out NASA Pro Racing's website for their next Track Day event. The infield at Cal Speedway is freakin amazing. I guarantee you will have more fun than running 16.5's all day long (and your car will thank you as well). The introductory session (HPDE1 - High Performance Drivers Education) gets you and your car 4 15-20min sessions per day (3-day event) + classroom instruction. Your first time out will be with an instructor to 'learn the line' and proper racecourse etiquette. Depending on how competent you are you'll probably be out in the faster groups in no time (where passing is allowed in places other than the back straight)
And it's surprisingly affordable.
If I still worked for NASA I'd be at their next Cal Speedway event (and Buttonwillow, and Willow Springs). But I don't. And it's a shame. cause they paid for my hotels and everything. Oh yea, free beer garden afterwards too. Everyday. God I love Track Weekends.
