ok, I have a 99 tib. I ran a 16.2@84mph here in Puerto Rico with serious clutch wear. then I did some mods.
RD18 intake cam.
aerospeed intake (the one that is like a intercooler)
magnaflow exhaust. 2.5inlet.
stock 2" piping without cat.
ENKEI rims 15" with 205/45 r15 nitto DRAG 555R
aerospeed coil overs.
4-1 short headder home made.


then I go to the track. I run a best 15.83@87mph with a 60ft of 2.3


I'm waiting a underdrive pulley, and wishing to buy a short shifter soon

 

Let's see...R/T 1.191 because I was not paying attention, with a 16.482 @ 83.94 and R/T .530 with a 16.612 @ 83.86. That was with AEM intake, custom 2.5" headerback(no cat.), Magnacor wires, HKS S-AFR partially tuned, a few suspention mods, carbon fiber hood, no back seat, no spare tire assembly, no stereo, 0ft elevation, 91 degree outside temp., 97% humidity, and huge 195/60/15 cheap Wal-Mart tires(because they were the only thing open on a Sunday when I had two flats at once). In case you still had your doubts, Hyundai autos suck bad and with all my bills and my job I have neither the time nor the money to swap. Sucks balls.

your car has a little less hp than 2.0 betas... so i suppose those times are normal....

 

Went to capitol and got pretty satisfied with my results smile.gif

my best times were 16.007 at 86.20 mph with 60' 2.38 smile.gif best R/t time was .502 with .500 bein perfect smile.gif 10.31 at 68.90mph!

and thats only with my fake CAI ( warm air intake more likely) and a 4-1 header smile.gif

 

14.0 @ 101 with a 2.3 60' on stock diff and shitty tires... and 7 psi @ 193 WHP... going back this friday @ 13 psi and an LSD... i want mid 13's before i get tuned
