1/4 mile honor roll
**try this out here, sorry mods if this is not aloud, just trying to spike more interest and open it up to all models of cars.*
I've been thinking it would be nice to get a 'database' going for fastest 1/4 mile times.
Each entry will be as follows:
1. Username, 12.9 @ 126 MPH. (Model of car, Engine, FI or N/A, Manual or Auto, type of tires)
That's it. The full timeslip details must be posted or a video clearly showing your vehicle and the 1/4mile time at the end of the run.
After we get a bunch of peoples times, etc up we can break them down into categories and actually have a database for people to oooo and awwww over and goals for others to try and beat and get in that 'top' position.
it doesnt matter if you run 18second or 10 second 1/4mile times, post them up so we can show our pride!

you know, i think you got something here. the only problem though is that this is only a hyundai site so getting other makes and models in here is prolly not gonna work well. the idea is good but i say we just stick with the hyundai makes and models. i think this would be a good challenge to see where we are at and a lil competition. it would be a great way to see if the products work and give some advice and what your doing to get the times and speed outa your car. i give 2 thumbs up for this idea.

If we get submissions we will put something together. We can't start something with nothing in it.
It doesn't have to be only Hyundais and Kias, we can have a separate section for other makes and models.

I finally made it to the track last night to get some post megasquirt installation comparison data. I was able to cut over half a second off of my e.t. with it.
97 Accent GT 1.5l DOHC
CIA
2.5” exhaust w/ a Magnaflow muffler
2300 lbs with driver
Megasquirt*
Launching at 3600 rpm and shifting at 6000 rpm on all passes.
These were from a few months ago before I installed the Megasquirt:
And these are from last night with the addition of the Megasquirt and some tuning:

Was racing at importmadness at newengland dragway and the track was hooking hard. So I bought the revs up to 3200 rpms and dumped the clutch car hooked and ran the fastest time yet on 65 shot.
