The first movie seemed like it couldn't decide if it was coming or going. It was too many plots for a single film and really just conformed to the standard "Thor looses his hammer, Loki goes berserk, Thor finds his hammer and suddenly everyones his b*tch again" device. This looks like it has more depth, but hopfully has a full plot, rather than the shrapnel of plots that made the first. My wife will drag me to it 
we'll see.
