Default Sunday pictures

Spent some Much needed time away at the family cabin today
First is my old Chevy c-10 I got this thing when I was 17 for 500 dollars. It's pretty rusty now but if I threw some gas in it that 327 small block would fire right up. Actually my dad will be getting it out for hunting season this week.

A rusted chain I dug out of the old foundation remnants years ago

The bridge is in need of repair

Shroom

The Xd sittin in the yard
(notice my wife crashed in the passenger seat.)

I have been thinking about fixing it up. I have another one in parts in my dads garage, I could do it but I need to focus on one project at a time before I would start something like that. PLUS that thing gets like 100 feet per gallon.

That reminds me of the first vehicle I bought...a 78 Blazer 4x4 with a built 327 from a 67 Corvette. It had about 475 horsepower and it was a lot of fun to drive as you can imagine. I got it for $1800.

I wish I would have kept it. Oh well everyone's young and dumb once.
