<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Episode I, "The Phantom Menace," would be first out of star-dock during early 2012. After that, each film would be released in order at the same time in consecutive years, depending on how well the first rerelease does.
Each conversion takes at least a year to complete, with Lucas overseeing the process to make sure each is as perfect as possible. He has said that the "Avatar" experience convinced him that "Star Wars" is ready for the state-of-the-art 3D treatment.</div>
Not sure what to think about this yet. Seems like everyone is jumping on the 3D experience now and its I think its getting to be a little played out. But Star Wars in 3D could be kind of cool if done right.

i'm waiting until they make a 3d tv that you don't need the glasses to watch the screen all the time. be able to flip a switch or whatnot when you want to watch a 3d movie, flip it off when you are watching regular tv.
oh, and also waiting when the price of a 46" to 52" model is less than 1500 bux, lol.
5 g's for a tv, meh.

if the first ones would be, it would be pretty tight. but yeah i totally agree it's played out. to be honest, i liked the movie more without the 3D experience.
