Default Some of the car models I have on display

So I went in for my reconstructive surgery today, which so far went well, so I had some time to arrange all my COMECON model cars I got from my grandma as a 25th birthday present, and arrange them on a shelf.

Behold:

And some I haven't had the time to build yet (The Stellar is partially assembled)

Funny that you and Robert Kubica had wrist surgery. Yikes, hope it heals quick! Get lots of rest.

Those models are so awesome!!! I didn't know they made Hyundais, but it's not all a surprise to me. I had one just like that but it was a 1978 VW Golf. I don't know what happened to it unfortunately, but if I had kept it, it would have gained a lot of value.

I love the red Excel. My dad used to have on exactly like that, in the burgundy color. It had red seats hahaha. Do I see a light blue Warszawa in the middle? An FSO Polonez, a Trabant, and Skoda 105. I also see a DMC there, another Giugiaro.

Yeah, I know what you mean, that Stellar and Excel have been on the shelf for over 8 years...

As for the Bloc cars, theres some LADAs in there, some GAZ Wolga, an FSM Syrena, Fiat Polski 125, and a GAZ 69 truck. I'm missing two from my collection still.

During the next 3 - 5 months, I will be able to assemble nothing! Its already to the point where I have to use my feet toes to open medicine bottles, the fridge, beers even... I'm quite nimble with my limbs so its OK. Writing with my left hand is just disasterous though...

LOL I look so drugged in that pic... There's a fair bit of morphine in me still!
