How would you describe your photographic "style"? What things tend to always catch your attention? Do you have strength or weaknesses that you're aware of? Have your tastes changed as your skill changed? What would you like to change about the pictures you take (subject/composure/mood)?

I tend to enjoy high contrast pictures, and will often 'amp' them up with a photo editing program before I release them. Most people probably think it's just a bit too much for a normal photo, but not enough for a "special effect". This may actually be the result of using an outdated camera for too long, and it affecting my style.
On the opposite hand, I have a hard time taking pictures with a good mix of colors in them. Not because I can't see minute differences in shades, but because it's almost like I can only see so many colors at a time. But I see differences in brightness alot easier.
I tend to like to take very candid action shots, or serene scenery pictures. As these can be at the opposite ends of the exposure length spectrum, I am very aware of the limitations of my camera. sad.gif
I dunno, I'll post more as I think of other stuff. Please feel free to 'think aloud' along with me.

I am limited by my camera's capabilities too. I had a lot more fun with my 35mm SLR before it broke.
I like taking pics that have a contrasting subject against a scenic background.
I love taking posed pictures of people although I'm not a very good director and I get frustrated because I rarely get the shot I'm trying to. When I do though I'm really happy with it.

Uh, two girls, fancy bedroom, nak....wait a sec.....
I tend to be attracted to architecture because buildings have very stark lines and i think that with creative angles you really can play off that. For some reason i'm always attracted to crowds as well. by the say i've always used Canon powershots. Right now i have the SD1100 IS. Canon makes great point and shoots for a great price that offer a lot of flexibility in photo manipulation. BTW i'm just an amateur photog

I don't know anything about photography. I have a crappy camera and it takes crappy pictures. So then I Just manipulate the piss outta them in Photoshop or Corel until I get the composition set they way I would like. I would really like to get a Digital SLR one of these days and take some Photography classes. As for what I like to take pictures of??? Anything that catches my eye. I always have my camera and phone with me at all times so I can just snap away as soon as I see it.
^^^^^Mr. Photoshop I was wondering if you ever did that idea I had for my tattoo cause I looking at getting my tattoo with Christmas money I get. If you cant remember what I sad PM.
