This guy is AMAZING, all of his sh*t. He's self taught, and you can tell he's a little on the "slow" side (in a nice way). He just released his first CD, and I'm sure I'll be picking it up. smile.gif

Welcome to my Web Page(s)! I made this website after some web-friends on youtube encouraged me to get a site on the Net. I'm into just about anything technology-wise, really, and love making music. I also like to make jokes, surf the web, hang out with friends, OK this is starting to sound like a dating profile (I'm happily with a girlfriend, thank you).
I'm not a savant or anything remotely related. Lots of people make assumptions, but I'm normal and I also don't take myself (or music for that matter) too seriously. Some also assume I went to school for music but I actually went for a tech-related degree (networking, security). Musically speaking, I am completely self-taught but it was a slow process - I don't think I was "born to play" or anything but stuck with it. My actual training consists of a few piano lessons (I was a terrible piano student quickly went back to just playing) and one year of marching band during my senior year of high-school. The band director, "Mac", was cool enough to just let me jam out my own parts on the keyboard. He tried his best to encourage me to read music but I always went back to playing by ear. Such a cool teacher and person - I'm thankful someone like him encouraged me so much despite me not having the "technical" capabilities he so wanted to teach.
I make videos to (hopefully) entertain, share my music, and encourage others to play even if they're just getting started. No matter where you plan to take your music, I think it's time well spent. Whether you're hammering out "Mary Had a Little Lamb" or something crazy complicated, music can and should be fun. It's such a constructive use of your time, even if you are doing simple stuff.
My first album has been released and the sales continue to surprise me! It's nowhere near platinum sales or anything, but hey, I'm independent and I make music for the fun of it. The album sales have allowed me to focus more time on music, which I'm thankful for. Huge thanks to those who have checked out my tunes either by buying my album, or just watching and commenting on my youtubes .</div>
Guess he is just a normal dude (maybe a bit slow) with some natural talent.
