Default The official "I LOVE FISHING" thread....

Who here fishes on a regular basis? A buddy of mine just bought a new fishing charter boat (hes startin his own business) and I plan on going out alot with him. Need to buy some new poles and lures though.

Who kind of poles and lures do the fishermen on here use, and how often do you go out? I'm thinking about trying my hand at fly fishing this year too just to say I've actually done it.

I like fishing, but I guess I couldn't say I love it. I prefer something more aggressive, such as hunting. That's why I bought a spear gun, to go underwater and hunt fish.

At least once a week with a partner, and whenever I can in the kayak. Mostly for bass and northern pike, and always with spinning gear. I love Shimano and Quantum stuff, and just got into St. Croix......yeah, this could get expensive now, lol!

Went out deep sea fishing Tuesday with some friends and caught some dolphins.

This is me with the big bull I caught, he was almost 53 inches long and 30 pounds.
