Ever since Top Gear fired the previous hosts and brought Chris Evans in to replace them, we've all been waiting to find out who else would be joining him on the cast. And now we have our next piece of the puzzle: it's Joey from Friends! Today, Matt LeBlanc has been announced as a new co-host of the rebooted BBC car show.

Looks like they're going back to the old format but with comedy. They have no idea what made the show so great.
Top Gear was the number one motoring show in the world not because of the cars, but because of the people. The interactions, the schoolboy-esque picking, the offensive material; these are the reasons people loved the show. The cars were second at all times. At least they (finally) realize they can't manufacture that interaction, but seriously this is just too damn many cooks. And frankly to much affirmative action. Was it really necessary to get one of every possible interest group?

It's just another Fifth Gear now. Not something to hate but probably no magic. I will still check it out and I'm hoping for the best but I just renewed Amazon Prime and it wasn't all about free shipping.
