New Alien Movie to be direct sequel to Aliens
A month or so ago Neill Blomkamp tweeted some very interesting photos of some concepts he had for the Alien universe. These included a scarred Hicks among other things. At the time it just looked like a pipe dream but apparently it is really in the works, and in an interview with Sigourney Weaver she stated she was very interested.
Now it seems not only may it come to life, it will be a direct sequel to Alien completely forgetting about 3 and 4. The word is that Ridley Scott will also be involved, but that Prometheus 2 was still in the works.

This article just talks about this latest revelation. While who knows if this would even be good at this point, I find it to be a cool idea.
