My sister-in-law's music career
My sister-in-law is launching her music career. She's going to be a "commercial country" artist - although she has a heavy influence from Paramore. She just started growing her fan base on Facebook within the last week, and it would be great for her to see other people join in and becomes 'friends' of hers on Facebook. It would be an emotional boost and huge encouragement for her.

She is currently finishing her first album after writing (or co-writing) almost every track. Definitely some radio-worthy stuff from what I've heard live. Please add her as a friend to show support. (feel free to add me as well - http://www.facebook.com/bsanders21)
Her CD will release the night of her opening performance, October 16, 2010. She'll be performing at Rocketown in Nashville, a venue expected to hold 3,000 people.

Added, and I wish her good luck.

I heavily suggest NOT locking down her FB page like Fort Knox if she's trying to grow a fan base. Not being her friend there is zero info about her. Name, photo, and that she's female. Absolutely nothing else.
If this is her personal FB account and she doesn't want it to be her professional account, she needs to make a new one that's mostly public and start marketing herself more or less as if she's a company.

I already told her that. She converted her personal page into her professional page (that's not her real name). I told her to open it up, but she hasn't. I'll just go in and do it for her. She's taken a lot of her personal stuff off (school, phone #, etc). She also needs to change her email address.
How old do you think she is?

She only has one photo that looks heavily reworked.
She could be anywhere from 15 to 30 in my eyes based on the one pic and how it's done.

Agreed. She just had a huge photo shoot and they're still going through and determining which pictures to use. They are keeping some secret for now, so she can release them later for other promotions. I think that picture is going to be the album cover.

It's a good pic, but sort of loses the subject in the artistry. Not that it's a bad thing, just makes it hard to tell what she actually looks like.
