It's supposed to have the feel of an old school 80s kick ass flick, with them just beating, stabbing, shooting everything/everyone that comes near them. It has a lot of potential.

somebody should just put a picture of chuck norris on the big screen for 2 hours and charge admission. that alone would be worth the 12 dollar ticket, 5 dollar popcorn, 5 dollar soda, and 4 dollar pack of m&m's. chuck norris is the ultimate champion of manliness. heck, chuck norris IS manliness.

i don't like actors who are douches in public. christian bale, bruce willis, and some others. i think as actors, it was their choice to go into entertainment industry. nobody forced them. they're making bank off of the public, it's part of their job to deal with them appropriately and not push them away like some disease. he's all about the $$$ nothing more.
to me, theater was always first. theater will always come first. if you look at real theater, they come out and sign autographs or hang out with the audience most of the time. if an actor is too scared to do that, and too scared someone will pull a John Lennon, then they shouldn't be in the business to begin with. that's where i see a flaw with jason statham. sure he does his own stunts, but with todays tricks who can't?
on the other hand there are some crazy people out there, but still. if the guy acts so rich he's got enough and won't get my money.
