James Cameron wanted Billy Idol to play the T-1000 originally in Terminator 2
Did you know James Cameron originally wanted the T-1000 shapeshifter to appear in T1, played by Lance Henrikson? Then abandoned the idea due to technological constraints? The idea was raised again for Terminator 2, and Punk Rocker Billy Idol was chosen to play the Cop.
