Fast shutter speeds. SLR's are great.

Isn't it a slower shutter speed with a fixed mount?

faster shutter with either fixed mount or you can get the camera on the poll with remote shutter button

It would take some serious photoshopping to get the street blurred like that with a fixed mount. Shot from a car rolling at the same speed. Wide angle lens so they can be on the same street and still get the whole car in the frame.

Usually the shutter speeds are pretty quick, probably no more than 1/100 or so, but if you're moving quickly enough, the road and wheels will still blur pretty well. A wide angle helps so the car itself can't move around, and of course the car you're shooting from has to be at exactly the same speed.

All but the middle one appear to have a bit of photoshopping done to them, just based on the crispness of the car and the perfectly smooth and creamy blur.

these are rig shots, the camera is mounted to a rig that is connected to the car in the picture...the rig is then edited out after using photoshop
