Second big storm in 4 days for us here in CT. As much as I like a snow storm or two in the winter, this is getting out of hand!
Playing Where's Waldo with the cars this morning:

State guys pulled out the big guns for plowing on this one!

We got 6" the other day, I'm 100% certain that it's a record for us. Funny part is, no one knows how to act in 1/2" so my wife's company totally shut down the building and is not sure when they'll reopen
It hasn't snowed for DAYS and they still haven't done anything about the roads. Not that it's a problem for me, but there are so many wrecked and/or abandoned cars along I-285 it's like driving to work trough a U-pullit lot.

Yeah, you guys made the news up here with the cars off the road and what not. The thing I don't get is the southern areas that have a lot of guys that mud bog, but you hand them a couple inches of snow and they're lost, lol. It's pretty similar, but whatever. This is our 3rd big storm since xmas, piling up to 4 1/2 feet!

The reason: Idiocy
There really is no other excuse. I'm driving an FF Tiburon on N3000s, literally on sheets of ice to get out of my neighborhood, and dudes on 4x4s can't handle a well melted interstate. It's a psychological issue call bad driving.
"Holy crap!! There is some frozen water falling from the sky!!" Stomps on the brake pedal with both feet.

^thank you! All I see on the news is RWD trucks and. 4x4's gone off the road.
Do you still
have power? When it snowed 4 feet last year, it wasn't so bad because the power never turned off. Had their been freezing rain, or a tree down, it would have been BAD.

Clearly the snow is from climate change . . . the climate cools in winter
I think the radio said Atlanta has lots of underground power lines so they lose power less than some other places. Still don't do so good with ice on the roads though

We got a storm here in upstate NY, but nothing like what the downstate guys near NYC got. I think we're up to around 5" total since last night of it all falling. Its still coming down now, but the plows have been out all day and the roads aren't too bad.
