Well, for 2 years now, this has been a pretty big phenomenon amongst digital photographers, as photoshopping a picture sure beats buying a $3000-5000 lens. So I decided to try my hand at the "tilt-shift effect" which is supposed to make pictures look like miniatures.
I can definately see the limitations of my old version of PS7, and can kinda see my inexperience doing this. Especially since this is my first time tryng this effect.
But what the hell, I broke even at poker tonight, then came home and did this while sobering up before bed. Hope you guys like it.

It takes alot longer to do on the older versions of photoshop because the new ones come with all the right macros, and the old ones have to be finessed by hand about 7 pixels at a time, but oh well. The effect looks better with a shot that was taken with this effect in mind (overhead, direct lighting, harsh shadows), but at least by doing it, I'm learning what I can do to improve the effect.
It should look more like this:

...but I'm working with what I got for now.
