Default Fast and Furious 7 to debut April 2015 with rewritten script

Less than a month since the shocking death of Fast and Furious star Paul Walker, Vin Diesel announced that FF7 would hit theatres on April 10, 2015.

Diesel, who will produce and star in the film, used Facebook to announce the date, posting it alongside a picture of the last scene he and Walker filmed together with the comment “P.s. He’d want you to know first…”.

Originally, the film was planned for a release on July 11, 2014, but Universal Studios halted production to “asses all options available” following Paul Walker’s tragic death. However, less than a week later, various sources claimed production was back on, with work to continue in January using a rewritten script that would give Walker an “honorable” send-off.

And while Fast and Furious fans will have to wait until 2015 to get their fix of the popular street racing series, there’s one thing they probably already know: it just won’t be the same without Paul Walker.

Sucks we have to wait almost an entire year but I'm glad they are doing the honorable thing for Paul.
