I haven't used my VCR in a few years. I do own a couple of pretty decent SVHS decks though.
That said, I recently used my laserdisc player. Plugged it into my Avid Breakout Box to up-convert my LDs to 720p MP4s.
I have the Betamax ready to hook up too. Lots of old cartoons I plan to convert as well. I need HD Turbo Teen in my life!
