Seriously? Nothing produced in the last 20 years is even in the top 10. My #1 is MASH. It was equal parts comedy and drama.

As much as I want to make the obligatory "get off my lawn" joke here, I have to agree.
Most TV today is sh*t compared to the jems from back in the day. Mostly the reason I dropped cable TV service. That said, I am in udder love with the recent Sherlock BBC series. Hell, between that, Top Gear, the Doctor Who reboot, Vicious and so many other things, I think Britt TV stomps the crap out of the current US mindless garbage. As an anime fan, there tons of those series right now that have better writing than most US shows. I blame the American infatuation with sex. Most of the series out there that could prove really great, just become a 'who is sleeping with who" skankfest. Just cut out the bullshit and watch porn. I do, and not for the plot.
