I want to know who the 8% that want a Jay Z national anthem are? 
If America had its way, Bruce Springsteen would be the new Francis Scott Key.
Given the option of having a modern artist write a new national anthem, voters chose the New Jersey rocker as their man, this month’s Vanity Fair/60 Minutes poll found.
Springsteen, with 22 percent of respondents behind his patriotic brand of ballad craftsmanship, edged out Dolly Parton (19 percent), Stevie Wonder (18 percent), Bob Dylan (11 percent), Jay-Z (8 percent) and Madonna (5 percent) as the artist best suited to compose Anthem 2.0.
Appropriately, the poll results were released 28 years to the day after the flag-draped Springsteen album “Born in the USA” debuted on the charts.
