*urgent New job risks* Will a alpha 1.3 Getz engine work with 2002 Alpha Accent gearbox ????
I fitted a Stock 215mm Getz Clutch kit too my Hyundai accent with stock gearbox using a accent release bearing
after about 300 miles my release bearing started making a noise and 10 miles later smoking and i heard a nice clunk pressure plate sound. (car still drives fine for sort period) (10-40Seconds)
2002 Accent engine Used 1.3 (185mm Clutch)
2003 Getz engine Used 1.3 (215mm Clutch)
If i fit a full Getz clutch kit and not use the accent release bearing inc new Bearing should accent gearbox be ok ?
THANKS

Not sure, but I used an LC clutch disc and pressure plate on my X3 and it could not disengage enough to get the car into gear.
I'd pull the transmission off and see what's actually damaged first. It might be a fried disc, might just be a bad throw out bearing that you disturbed when you took it all apart.
