You don't need NES to play duckhunt, go right here:

Duckhunt

You can even do a setting where you have an automatic machine gun and shoot dogs...cuz you know when he laughs at you for missing a duck...you know you wish you could shoot the dog.

the first game on a game system was pitfall for atari. it would crash--turn black and white and you could go anywhere on the screen you wanted! LOL. of course the Atari i had plaid on was already 10 years old. as crappy as atari was, it was still a luxury to have anykind of video system and be able to play on the television. I was about 9 years old when I had plaid it.

star wars, ET, Combat, pitfall, pong (yes i had the knob controllers too) space invaders, frogger, atlantis was my favorite. woohoo!

The first game i ever owned was Zelda: Link's Awakening for Gameboy. i'm still stumped on how to get the "hot rod" and still can't get past the 8th level. grrr...

we're never going to ever have an era like that again. it's sad. these days it's a flood of games and systems and ads and promotions. poor kids will never look at games like we did. supernintendo used to be god's way of letting us know we were born into the right planet.

Did you guys know that in Duck Hunt, if you play on a black and white TV and shoot at any of the corners, itll kill the duck no matter wheres its at on the screen?

How does that stupid gun work!??!?! LOL

My first game was Ninja Gaiden... and Legend of Zelda, I bought them on the same day... I remember it like it was yesterday... ahhh memories...

This post got me tearing out my SNES again... I wanted to play Zelda soooo bad lol. But the darn newer T.Vs I own (ya know, red white yellow connectors) don't match up with the SNES' setup. So I'll have to go by radioshack and find some way for it to work.
