This is in Versoix, a town close to Geneva City, Switzerland. Imagine your Tib stuck in this mess....

oh my god!! that's insane!! looks like something right out of a bizarre fairy tale. i didn't think ice could work it's way like that. all of those cars must be quite messed up.
thanks for sharing those photos. they are in a way beautiful, but i cannot help imagine if that area experienced death tolls...

I don't see why the cars would be messed up. They were covered with mist from the lake (or ocean, whatever it is) and it froze over time. If anything, until it thaws, they are compleatly protected from everything but the cold.
As for the deathtoll, I am pretty sure they know how to survive in conditions like that. Probably happens every winter
