I can't wait for Doom 3 to come out but there is no way I'm gonna buy it for my xbox. Doom was originally a computer game and all the sequals to the game were to. Therefore, I feel it should remain a computer game. Plus as amazing as the xbox is, it won't be able to handle the true graphics of the game. This game is going to be the MOST ADVANCED game (graphics wise) ever released. So a really good computer with a high end graphics card is needed to truley appreciate this game.

 

From the footage of the xbox version, their is some lighting issues, and alittle anti asaling(sp) (minor jaggies). But enviorment wise its dead on perfect, monster wise if you look closely you can see the lil jaggies. Depending on what type of resolution it will support they may work that out. Im still waiting to see what Half-Life 2 will look like on Xbox.

 

meh, they can work it out... Bill Gates will nerdify the game

 

The videos I've seen look beter on the Xbox than the PC.

BTW, you are wrong, MANY of the Doom games came out on other platforms. Sega CD, and several others.

The vids I saw made me crap my pants. Besides, at E3, the ONLY stuff they showed for Doom3 was on the Xbox, because it looked so good.

i would really like to see what they are going to do with Perfect Dark 2 for Xbox

 

I bought the Chronicles of Riddick last Friday and finished it on Sunday. It is an awesome game, but no mulitplayer, so no replay value. It's a definate rental if you like third person type games.

 

oooh, i really want to play that game... its probably like Spiderman, fun to play but not to buy...
