Im sure many people have heard stories about how Xbox's cause fires. Well, Microsoft finally issued a statement saying there is going to be a recall, I believe on a specific wire, for Xbox's made in October of 2003 and before. Yeah, the power cord started fires, their recalling the cords from oct. 2003 and back, but I may be wrong.

 

I believe you are correct. Mine was built in 2002, so I placed an order to get one.

Man, XBOX is far superior in EVERY way to the PS2 - and you know this!
PS2 has more games, but only because it has been out longer ,...period.

I like both XBOX and PS2 The only reason i like xbox is because of Halo. But you know what PS2 is still the#1 best selling system out there. Their the same thing to me.

 

Does that mean if I were to go to a pawn shop and buy a used Xbox, I would get a new one if it met the recall requirements?

IT also has BETTER games! btw its too late to use that cliche excuse, how long has the xbox been out? its had plenty of time to catch up.
