You know, I was gonna wait to pickup a 360 until the PS3 came out, so I could catch the price drop, Halo 3, and laugh at everyone else.
But I was at a Super Walmart yesterday here and they had a goddamned 360 setup.
RUNNING. On a HD LCD screen with demo disks.
OMFG.
I got on there and played Call of Duty 2 for about 45 minutes. Talk about mind blowing. Looks so real, the smoke and particle effects are amazing on this system. And the controller is a friggin dream. Like the perfect mix of a Dreamcast and Xbox controller.
I'm in heaven. I HAVE to get one ASAP now. SHIT!
Anyone else get to play one yet?

me and you redz are gonna own on halo 3 lol im even going to the hastings midnight release party which by the way i recommend gettin it from there as they promised me lower prices at that time

I play 360 at my friends house. He works for microsoft gaming development.
Halo3 is the best game I've ever seen in my entire life. No joke. If you liked halo2...you'll marry Halo3.
I've only played the beta demo since it's still in the testing stage but HOT DAMN is all I have to say. Same sex marriges? Watch out for halo3 marriges fing02.gif

Personally...I'm not a big Halo fan, though it is a great FPS. However, when Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion comes out for Xbox 360, I just might have to pick it up after the price drops a bit...I'm such a dork lmao.gif But, from what I hear, Xbox 360 is supposed to be cool, except for that whole thing about the hard drive not coming standard on it....

I must say, I have seen some footage, and I'm leaning towards one. Resident Evil 4 looks sick. Although it's pretty darned good on the PS2 as well I must say.

I can't take and pictures. If there is a leak he will get in BIG shit and might delay the release of the game. I'm not even allowed to play it but he trusts me. Sorry folks....
The graphics are amazing. The beta version I'm playing is not the final version of the game. There's been a couple changes...small and dramatic. There is a gun in question if it will remain at the moment. This thing is INSANELY powerful, with a scope!, but the fire rate is low aka Newbies will run around with ONLY this gun. The scope is in question right now as with the overall power of the gun.
I'll keep you guys posted from what I find out, which is ussually not that much because he doesn't give me detailed information, but I'll try snoop around.
