So I was at HIN in Chicago and my girlfriend pointed out a booth for www.CarSponsorships.com They are telling me that they can get me bodykits and all for free and everything, so I fill out a flyer, what the hell right? So they call me, I talk to the lady for a while, tell her about my car and plans for it, and she says they'll take me. This place basically finds sponsors for me, and I have to do things like pass out flyers at car shows, and take pics, and if they accept me I have to put 2 decals on my car, like 1" x 5". Then I find out it costs $89.00 for this company. Has anyone heard about this company?

So far supposedly I can have this...

8 Full Sponsers
www.bodykits.org
StreetFX lighting
Killer Glass
Glowshift guages
www.decalkits.com
Some paint company
and two more

Semi Sponsers
Fidanza
Some wheel place
monkey screens or something
and a whole buncha others.

24 in total.

Anyone know anything about this place, is it bs, do you know someone in it, anything?

yea they suck, you pay a whole lot of money to get some paper decals in return, and a few 10% discounts. basically it's a scam to get you to buy things by thinking you're saving on them--when the reality is yu shouldn't be buying them to start with.

I actually signed up for it before anyone could tell me otherwise. It was a huge waste of money and if I could take it back, I totally would.

don't do it. it's a scam. They'll give you partial sponsorships but you have to pay a little to get a little.

The first two sponsorships will be decals and a radio/audio shop. You buy $xxx and they'll give you $xx

i was there at teh show to and they just called me today asking me to join up. its not really a scam but you do have to pay them. the downsides are having to put their stickers on your car and the fact that you dont get the greatest sponsors in the world. but really its not all bad and i know of a few people who signed up and ended up with from door kits from VDI. it just that for your semi sponsers its 25-80% off depending on what you get and then the full sponsors 3 of them you can get free stuff but you pay the install cost and the others you have to pay shipping and instal cost.

really i wouldnt do it just based on the stickers but they do carry tsunami audio which does have pretty good wireing and connectors, and i could even just get all that stuff for free it would be worth the 90 bucks.
