Yea, I remember the front mount filter 10yrs ago, but it was smaller and didn't have the plexi-glass. Seems this is an improvement to the same chitty idea. Looks more intercooler-ish, and built to last longer.

It would be interesting to see though what the differences in performance #'s were between the front mount and a quality intake like AEM or Injen would be.

My co-worker says "WHY is there plastic all over the front of it?"



edit: just saw the plastic is on standoffs. In that case, why are there any holes at all?
