We had our second snow day in 20 years due to a blizzard w/ white out conditions Monday up here in Grand Rapids. I know what kind of pansies you guys are though, I used to live near Fort Wayne IN and even just that far south people couldn't handle the snow.

^ haha I know we really are. The highway speed today was probally around 10 MPH bc we had 1 inch this morning. The highway was not full, but the cars on it would still go extremely sloooooow.

LoL, oh the memories of school, rooting for snow days
i had 4 feet of snow in the driveway yesterday, 4 feet. I snowblowed it out, woke up this morning and we got so much snow overnight it looked exactly like it did before i worked on it yesterday, i spent an hour in a 3 piece suit shoveling it out, got in my dads truck (4x4) and took off, driving down 4 unplowed back roads with snow up to my bumper, just to get on a barely plowed highway to get to work in syracuse, All during blizzard like conditions.
Yah, i could have easily just called my fellow agents and told them im not coming in, but i wanted to take care of some of my clients to get them squared up, thats dedication..
then on a side note, i got home to find out the pilot light is out and its like 45 in my house, i had to shovel off the roof around the furnace inlet, and then relight it, which was a pita. owned.gif

This what Virginia will do...even with a inch of snow...they have like 5 salt trucks for the Tidewater Area
It sucks cause people can't drive period...so imagine how it is when it snows or rains...
Gotta love piss2.gif Virginia

I have seen several feet here at the Jersey shore.. but that was 30 years ago. I remember we had a snowdrift that went up over the front of our house and down the back, effectivly blocking both front and back doors.
We had to crawl out a window and start shoveling. My father and I.. my mom was 9 months pregnant with my sis at that time
