Winter Projects?
Anyone planning any winter projects? My project last year was building a coffee table out of a V8. This year I'm thinking of camshaft lamp or crankshaft lamp. (although my true winter project time revolves around fixing up the bike)
Here is what I did last year:

It's a 4.6L Ford crank shaft + pistons. The brake rotor coasters, salt and pepper gear knobs are just to accentuate.

this winter i actually have 3 projects
1. get the tib's engine pulled and get chassis fixed/straighted
2. fix shakey clutch basket on my kawasaki gpz100
3. replace engine on my goped so i can get around while my licence in suspended
so at least once i get my tools and projects all over to my new place i should have pleanty to do to take up my time while i think about my driving habits. just because you CAN go 200mph is no reason to actually travel 200mph.

I have a new project coming home in a week and a half that I need to get into daily driver status very quickly for the winter.
Other project is to get my blue RD2 completely ready to drop the motor and trans in as soon as I get the last piece of my clutch conversion kit. This includes bleeding the brakes as I made all new stainless lines. Will also need to finish my fuel pump hanger for in the tank and run my fuel lines as well as mount my inline filter. Lastly will be running the nitrous line up from the trunk to the distro blocks on the fire wall.
Shouldnt be hard, its just the time that I have none of. I need the RD2 to be track ready in Spring. No excuses.
Good thread.

1. Need to fix up my Civic for the winter as it's my new beater.
2. Tear down of the tiburon as it get's bodywork/painted/Engine work.
3. Finish the house renovation's.
I love the coffee table idea! All my spare time from work is currently going into my new home office. I'll post up pictures of the glass whiteboard i built, once i'm done laying the hardwood.

my winter project is to beef up supension with Eibach sway bars, KJB Adjustable endlinks, and of course wheel bearings...then hopefully I may get Yaya Bushing kit but thats 50/50 seeing i have to go through KSPEC...
then after supension i will start on OEM BBK
possibly upgrade rims as to something more bronze or gold...
then start research and price quotes to get tib repainted...

I like this thread...I'm big on lists.
I've got to get through Autumn/Fall projects first...
2006 Mazda 6i Engine replacement.
Replace my Jeep steering stabilizer and paint my rims black
Replace or repair my Tib's exhaust or possibly buy another Tiburon and swap out all my parts to new Tib
Cut lots of wood for heating the house
Bury extension cord to barn in the ground so I don't have to keep moving it when I mow
Clean guns
Over the winter I'll probably keep it a little more simple...
Hibernate
Snowboard
Through my 5 pound chihuahua in the snow
Sand and paint some walls in the house that I already patched
Burn my girlfriends grandmother's crap that we have been storing in our barn (I wish but this one is not so realistic)
Paint my Jeep sidesteps black
Finish my "sub in the spare tire" project...fiberglass enclosure and wiring
Probably got more but that's gonna be enough of a challenge to get completed by the end of winter
