I fully suspect that Obama was born where he said was, and on the day (not year) specified. But keep in mind that if it were just 2 years prior he'd be shy of qualification by mere days. Either way as valid as the argument is, it's too little to late. And personally I find it very shallow of the GOP to turn to the exact same tactic with Cruz. At this point both parties are just shitting on rules of engagement and calling it fair play.

 

it's never too late and it's for dam sure not too little. If (huge IF) someone proved he wasn't eligible, either a) congress would have to pass a law to assent to everything he did, all together or one at a time, or b) everything he did would, after years in the courts, be unwound. It would be a huge clusterf*ck, but it *could* be better than leaving all his acts to stand as law.



But I'm not holding my breath for any of that to happen.

 

The American public has already been down the path, have felt the affects and been wronged. The best we can do is move forward. The economy is doomed, our relationships with our allies have been tarnished, the enemy is emboldened and well funded. The best we can hope for is an effective leader who will stand up for the laws and Constitution. The best we've been handed by the right is a Canadian creationist, biObama (the evangelical clone), a slew of GOPuppetes and the Ebenezer Scrooge.

Then there is the left's 2 prominent options: Hillary and Vladimir Lenin.
