Default Wilbur's 86 VW Golf

Wilbur can expand on the rest of his build up whenever he gets on if he would like, but here are some pictures of the bodywork, still in progress.

This is before we did the repaint, but after new hood and fenders. I don't have a picture of the Golf while the front end was still totaled.

Next time you're down Wilbur we'll take some current pictures with the grille on and everything.

I should have mentioned that all the bodywork done when we primered it was done overnight. I stayed up all night getting it ready for High School Drags the next morning but Wilbur had to go to sleep so he would be rested for the races.

So is it just going to be a race car?

No, it's his daily driver too. We just couldn't stand showing up at the drags with the multicolored POS looking thing that rolled into my garage.

Eventually it'll be a race only car, but he needs another one first.
