And This Is Why A V8 Is Still Great...
Notice the design of the exhaust on the V8 and how they had the individual exhaust ports on the block, piped separately rather than collectively into 1 exhaust pipe.

Of course...that's not as cool as the AWD V8 that one hot rod shop in the mid-west built up. If you've ever seen Rides, then look for the episode where they build up the eBay Fast-forward Fastback Mustang.

That motor sounded tough. It was a nice video, made you feel like you were riding in the car.
There is a reason that engine sounded rough.. it is about 60 years old... that is a venerable old Ford Flat head V8. One of the first v8s designed and produced. You can tell by the valve covers with the plugs down the centre into the middle of the cylinder bore instead of going in from the side under the valve cover.
It was also running a set of Stromberg 97s carbs.... hard to find anymore. That is definatly an old school rod.

If it's a hot rod, I highly doubt you'll get pulled over. Only imports get pulled over for loud exhausts.
Nah, Hotrods get pulled over too. Generally they are just as much into street racing as the imports are. Plus a lot of people have problems with taking an old 32 Ford and turning it into a hot rod...
