Why isn't their more effort and funds put into paranormal research?
The only logical reason I can think of is because there may not be any real benefit to it, other than to learn of its existence, but still never be able to fully comprehend it's substance.
But it's still an area that deserves attention, no doubt.
As somebody who grew up in a house filled with real paranormal activity, I can vouch for it's existence.

Because if you can't measure something, you can't. If you can't duplicate it, you can't. And if you can photoshop it and put it out there and get people to pay to put ads on it, you're set. Why bother.
