^^^ meh, i would rather buy a machine once and never have to worry about it again. im still a PS2 kinda guy, but ive had it for four years, not one problem

I was an 360 guy and I've switched back to ps3, I think there's a lot more potential in the ps3. I'm trying to sell my 360 now because it's just collecting dust.

 

I have all three, Wii, 360, and PS3

My 360 just died for the first time, RROD, after over two years of constant use

I went through three Ps1's, and two Ps2's, lets not forget the DRE's now, and two original xbox's

I'm still on my original Dreamcast, and its still hooked up, and I have never EVER had a nintendo product fail on me, from the original NES to my current Wii and DS systems

All that said, even with the hardware issues with the 360, it is by far and away the best gaming system you can own this gen, If you want the best mutimedia system, for movies, ect, PS3 is better, if you want a system where you play it only when friends come over, get the Wii, because for us, that is mainly what we use it for

Don't get me wrong, I like my Ps3, I traded a whole guitar for it, and $100, for the 60gb version, with GTA4, Guitar hero, resistance, and unreal tourney, fun times, but in reality, it still gets played more with Ps2 games than ps3 games right now.

and BOTH Wii and PS3 are getting played more because my 360 is on its way to micosoft to be ressurected.

so in what I'm saying that even the $199 version of the 360 is a great buy, people are off loading thier 20gb HD for not alot of money, I've seen them for $20 on craigslist, and the new systems have the new cooler jasper chipset, it is suposed to be the end to this RROD fiasco, we will see

 

It has nothing to do with soldering, and the 360's are just fine now, after the figured out the problems the new ones came with it fixed.

I still can't stand the PS3, or the controller. If they had a 360 controller, and didn't force blueray on me, I might have picked one up to play Drakes Fortune and like 2 other games.

Other than that, every multiconsole game out there has been rated the best on the 360, Xbox Live has absolutely NO competition in the PSN, and the 3 year old 360 is outselling the PS3 by over 2 to 1.

It's about the games, and the good games are on the 360.

I'm a dealer for all 3 systems (PS3,360 & Wii) and I own all 3. My Favorite is the PS3 but 360 has a lot more games and cheaper. The wii was a impulse buy...don't really use it anymore.

 

I got a PS3 and i think the games are better than 360's I have resistance, resistance 2, MGS4, Plus Resident evil 5 and God of War 3 are comin out here soon! PS3 is pickin it up when it comes to the games. But i also have madden 09, Guitar hero 3, Turok, and Fallout 3 but these games are for both systems. Halo 3 Online is untouchable i have to admit. I would go with PS3 even though im sending mine back to get fixed over my break cuz its havin problems reading the disks.
