Default Who would win in a fight: Bruce Lee or heavyweight UFC fighter?

Had this debate with my cousin last night. If Bruce Lee was still alive and he entered the octogon to fight a UFC fighter who would win? UFC fighters are all about grappling and choking out. Bruce Lee was a striker and rarely ever went to the ground. I think wrestlers and grapplers will always win the fight when up against kickers and hitters.

UFC guy for sure. They are well rounded in everything, including striking.

UFC heavyweight. Bruce Lee is an awesome fighter, I just don't think he has the reach and brute power to take out a really big guy that's as well trained as they are. Once the UFC guy got a hold of Lee it would all be over.

Lee was good at fighting in close quarters, and he had one hell of a powerful punch, plus his speed was untouchable.

I think if a grappler came in to try and grab Lee...he could probably land a few punches quickly, but not sure how much it would set the UFC guy back. Its like a boxer fighting a wrestler. Both have extraordinary skills, but it would come down to experience and speed of each one, in order for a certain type of fighter to win.

if van dam, chuck norris, steven segal, jet li and jackie chan were to all fight in a ring at once who would win? my money would be on either jet li or jackie chan.

And I think Bruce in his prime, with his speed and strikeing power may lay out a UFC guy before said UFC guy got his hands on him but.... if someone got him to the ground then UFC FTW.
